Árpád Kovács, born in 1974 in Budapest (Hungary), studied landscape architecture at Szent István University. In 2000 he has co-founded with six fellow friends their office Újirány Group, which practise aims to reflect on new urban challenges drawn up by the ever changing world around us and to set up new directions and possibilities of development. He has taken part in landscape architectural and spatial planning tenders, workshops since 2000 and to broad his professional experience he worked in Raphia Studio in Paris (2003) and Land-A Studio in Budapest (2004).
