In the outer part of the II. district of Budapest, on the border of Máriaremete, a renewed community park and its new pavilion building have opened their doors.

The wider site used to be a larger wooded andbushy area, with untidy sports fields next to it. In the nearby area, the GyarmatiDezső Swimming Pool was built in the late 2010s, designed by Atelier Péter Kis. After landscaping the swimming pool, New Directions Landscape Architects also won the general design opportunity for landscape architecture of the whole area.

The programme included the partial redesign of the sports fields, revitalisation of the park, a new sports club and a pavilion building as acentral element of the park. The park and the pavilion is highly popular among the residents of the area, the café is already functioning - also operating the event space creating a vivid community life in the park.
