The Castle of Ozora was built by Filippo Scolari (1369–1426), refered to as Pipo of Ozora - the son of a merchant family in Florence. The castle resembles renaissance characteristics that is folowed up in the design of the garden.

The landscape design of the shady inner gardens of the former bath now a luxurious hotel recalls clearings of a forest, where one can indulge in free time within ‘natural’ surroundings. In the evening the gardens turn into a magical place, when miscellaneous formations lit in purple appear as creatures of the forest.

The garden is a natural formation within the cloister of the office building, which aims to model the transformation of a mountain landscape into a lakeside one. A vein like path starts out on the ‘mountain plateau’ and exceeds though an area of ‘hills’ to find peace by the lakeside inviting visitors to take a stroll in the landscape.
